Q: Say what now?
A: This is a recruitment for Adventures in Ooo, a tabletop RPG based on Adventure Time and run in Fate Accelerated.
Q: What's Fate Accelerated?
A: Fate Accelerate is a tabletop RPG system based on the Fate system but (even more) streamlined. It's set up for a faster pace, which works well for Adventure Time's episodic and fast-paced style! There's less of a focus on skills and what specifically you can do and more on how you do things.
Q: But how are you gonna run it?
A: It'll be run out of Roll20, an online tabletop client. Signing up is required, but it's also free.
Q: Tell me more about Adventures in Ooo!
A: Adventures in Ooo will be set in the world of Ooo, but on a separate continent with original characters, kingdoms, creatures, and adventures. It'll keep the thematic elements and general feel of the canon material, though. Expect a lot of adventures, craziness, and character-driven drama.
From a player perspective, to keep in mind is that due to its episodic nature, we can have a rotating cast, running games even if everybody can't make it a certain week. (I think this is a big draw, okay? Schedules are hard.)
Q: Okay, but I don't really know about Adventure Time....
A: Adventure Time is set in a magical land called Ooo, which is (spoilers) actually Earth centuries after nuclear war decimated the world and left magic in its wake. There's a lot of inspiration from Dungeons and Dragons and other fantasy conventions, but with its own twist of zaniness and randomness. There's a Candy Kingdom run by an immortal bubblegum princess, for example. The plot tends to be a mix between outside adventure and interpersonal character problems. (Really, you should go watch it though.)
Q: What do I need to do to get into this thing?
A: Reply here with a few simple answers!
1. What name/nickname do you go by?
2. Your plurk username (I'm bad at keeping track of these okay)
3. How familiar are you with the canon?
4. What's your availability? (Feel free to note what's preferred within that as well.)
5. Character concept? Just something general is fine, but feel free to brainstorm on here if you want too.
6. Anything you want to be included in this corner of Ooo? (What's needed for your character to work, what you just want to see included, whatever. If your character is Pond Princess, there should probably be Lake Kingdom or something, for example. This is just to help me brainstorm ahead of time. Feel free to get back to this later.)

4. Monday is open, Wednesday is open. Starting in about a month, Friday is open.
5. Tallbot, a very tall and young robot who believes that robots aren't supposed to have emotions but is too excited about the world to be any good at it.
6. Somewhere where a robot could be dug up and activated, I suppose.

3. Mostly caught up, haven't watched a couple of the more recent episodes.
4. Most afternoons and evenings are fine with me, though I'd prefer sometime during Friday or Saturday.
5. Black Molly, the Pirate Princess, ousted from her nautical throne by her treacherous First Mate Jared and forced to wander the land, committing acts of daring-do and generally buckling various swashes. Free-wheeling, a massive showoff, and generally not the first person to be entrusted with big responsibilities.
6. Well, for there to be a Pirate Princess, there's gotta be pirates, both scurvy and/or salty. Molly's old crew mostly just hung around the coastline fighting sea monsters and stuff.
7 Sour Skittles, all day erry day.

3. I know it's a Sugar Bowl Post-Apocalyptic show, but I haven't seen much outside of promo material, Zero's (and yours!!!) incessant Bubbleline shipping, .gifs on Tumblr, and a few scattered episodes from the first few seasons.
4. Quite available, especially in the evenings. My school schedule will be quite lenient on work most of the time, and I can shuffle things around. Friday evenings, though, won't look quite as hot.
5. Wandering monk from a sect of chef-monks, on a pilgrimage to try and find the One Spice, a sacred and legendary plant that is said to enhance the flavor of anything, even making the inedible edible.
6. The Kitchen Monastery, a forgotten and secluded castle and massive kitchen that houses monks devoting themselves to transcribing, memorizing, and creating new Holy Dishes.

3. I've seen up to the start of season 5 with scattered episodes through seasons 5 and 6, but I'm gonna try to get caught up as soon as possible!
4. The only time I'm really unavailable (barring extraneous circumstances) is Monday through Thursday from 2 to 4:30 pm EST, which is when I have class, and I'm usually home by 5!
5. Object head-type cosmic dream being! Powers are psychic-based, with the signature ability to enter the world inside of someone's mind. Think like the game Psychonauts!
or Bill Cipher, as the more obvious inspiration, minus the omniscience and lack of physical form6. Just the concept of there being a "mindscape"/"dreamscape"! Considering Pendleton Ward's contemporaries, it might even be safe to assume something like this probably already exists in the AT universe, heheh...
