But what is Arknights: Overdrive?

Arknights: Overdrive will be a future tabletop campaign run in Valor.

Here's what you can expect:
-Global politics in a post-apoc/fantasy world
-A mix of gritty, darker tones with more hopeful themes, plus some action, pulp-y vibes
-Harsher themes than standard shounen faire
-Characters are ANIMAL PEOPLE dressed in tactical gear and cutting-edge fashion, with guns
-or swords
-while crying about their dead friends and sad backstories and shooting terrorists in the face
-or being weird sleazy shady lazy businesspeople we contain multitudes

It's Quinn and I wanna be in this one

Character concept is a chameleon girl specialist type, a wandering soldier of fortune slash thief for hire with a backstory full of terrible life choices and people who want her dead

But like who cares about the past? You can always outrun it to enjoy life in the present, right up until you suddenly and terrifyingly can't

I actually made a journal for Sarajevo since this went up

Sarajevo is a lizard girl whose entire life is built on making terrible decisions. She's being chased by debt collectors, assassins, and jilted exes, some of whom are the same people. The [PC organization here] is a chance for a fresh new start! Or it would be, if it weren't for all the consequences of her own actions

My most open times are Friday and Saturday evenings! I stopped raiding so those are open now. Anything else is... pretty unlikely to work

What I had in mind for my character concept is some kind of professional soldier, be it a knight or something of the like. Anyway, he had a position where he was in a place to show off his training and natural talent, something pretty important for him because of his big drive to get better. Until he got infected, that is. Now, he's kinda grappling with his own mortality and the fact that he doesn't have much time to show the world who he was.

As for the organisation, dunno. But for the character, I think something that could let him do some good for the world would be best.

I am immediately looking at some sort of Gran Colombian on the wrong side of all five Cartels. And the law probably doesn't like 'em much either.

Doom here! My main character concept is for a young Infected Vouivre bard* native to Lawrence whose primary ambition to wander the world collecting stories from as many cultures as he can before he dies from Oripathy... or at least that's what he says. His real dream is to meet a prominent Paladin of the Shield that he admires and join the knighthood, despite their strict ban on Infected joining their ranks. Since Sponsoreon funds and tips from the rare gigs he can arrange can't pay for all of his travel fees, much less Oripathy treatment, he picks up mercenary gigs despite his young age and uses his unique Arts to fight: giving form to the heroes from the stories he so admires.

*While the bardic tradition is outdated, he makes up for not many people wanting to sit down and listen to epic poetry and old legends by running a blog dedicated to the compilation of all the stories he finds culturally significant or interesting as well as his own in-depth analyses. He also occasionally integrates more exciting tales into the lyrics of original rock and roll compositions.

It’s Eric who just realized he never actually responded to this and I have three concepts:

1: Eindean Liberi fired/banished for unclear reasons. Socially weird conspiracy theorist. Claims he saw a star. Agi/mnd sniper
2: Draco posing as a Savra, hiding out from powerful enemies in poor as shit area. Mainly just an excuse to reuse Alexandr for something
3: 100% maximum no chill Aslan Paladin. Lost his post after contracting Oripathy. Filled with rage.

Hi yes this is Sven coming in here to reuse a character from a cancelled future campaign, I'll get in on this.

The character would be an android - probably the most technically advanced one people would have seen. Fully human AI. How much he remembers is up for debate but he has a V8 heart filled with fire to push him onward. His name... is JC.

I've pitched a bunch of different ideas to you before but I'm throwing the drawing board straight out the window because it seems like this game would suit a total amnesiac very well. The only notes I got are Draco (because I'm NOT passing up this chance to play one) and some freaky-deaky machinery in his chest. Go wild.
